Intern Introduction: Kobbe Pigg

Hello, my name is Kobbe. I am 22 years old, and I am from Lexington NC. I attend Southwestern Community College and am working toward my associates in human services. I plan to go to Western Carolina to get my bachelor's in social work. I wish to be a social worker because I love being around kids and helping families along the way. Being a social worker means you're devoting yourself to helping people who need it or are less fortunate. That is why Circles of Jackson County is a good fit for me. Circles is all about giving back to the community.  We help people by providing them with the resources they need, such as financial counseling, free meals, and childcare. Spending time with this organization will provide me with knowledge of the community resources available to families in need.
