Spring 2022 Cohort Graduation
On Tuesday, July 12th, Circles of Jackson County held a graduation ceremony for our newest graduate! Amanda, participant in our spring 2022 cohort, recently completed training to become a Circle Leader. Following the ceremony, she was introduced to two Circle Allies who will support her as she works towards her goal, to one day purchase a home. We are proud of how far Amanda has come and are excited to continue supporting her journey!
Ceremony speakers for the graduation included Executive Director Dawn Neatherly, board member Mary Anne Farrell, volunteer (+former Circle Leader) Jennifer Abby, and volunteer/board member (+former Circle Leader) Kayla Loftis. Sierra Womack, our recently retired Client Services Coordinator, was unable to attend due to sickness. However, Kayla provided remarks in her place in addition to presenting the keynote address.
In addition to honoring our graduate, we held a birthday celebration! We are returning to our tradition of celebrating birthdays every second Tuesday to honor everyone with a birthday during that month.
We were thrilled to spend an evening celebrating. With nearly 30 people in attendance, the graduation provided a wonderful opportunity for people to form new relationships and reconnect with old ones. Circles of Jackson County is fortunate to be so well supported by our community; thank you to everyone who attended the graduation and who has ever supported Circles in any capacity!
